Bent Viscaal with HWA Racelab

HWA Racelab has revealed its second driver for the first season of the new F3. After Keyvan Andres, it is therefore Bent Viscaal who has been confirmed to participate in the series succeeding the GP3 Series.

The Dutchman first distinguished himself by winning the German Junior Kart Championship in 2015 before competing in Euroformula Open with Teo Martin Motorsport where he finished vice-champion with notably a victory and 12 podiums in 16 races .

“The level of success achieved by HWA in DTM is very impressive, recognizes the new recruit, and I am therefore even more delighted to join this team. The very first days with her were very positive and I could feel the good spirit that reigns there. For me, it will all be about learning as much as possible during the season. I can't wait to discover this new F3 series which promises exciting and quality races. There car will be more powerful compared to the ones I've ridden before, but I'll get used to it quickly. »

“I am happy to welcome a very talented young driver to our new F3 team, adds Thomas Strick, Team Principal of HWA Racelab. The systematic and optimal promotion of our youngest is a foundation of our involvement in F3. Bent showed great potential. We will now support him as much as possible in his development. I'm sure it will be a win-win relationship. »

HWA Racelab will have to announce one last driver to complete its crew. Less than three months before the season opener in Barcelona (Spain), only ART Grand Prix and Prema Racing have confirmed their full line-up.
