Race 2: victory for Jack Doohan

Contested on a drying track, in much better conditions than during the first morning race, Race 2 did not offer a lot of spectacle and overtaking. A scenario that inevitably pleased pole sitter Jack Doohan, winner of his second success of the season ahead of his teammate David Schumacher (Trident) and Logan sargeant (Charouz). Note that the race ended under safety car after the collision between Amaury Cordeel and Calan Williams at the top of the steep slope.

Novalak 5th, Martins 7th

The American, third in the championship last year with Prema, is the one who has gained the most positions. He actually took two from the start, passing Alexander Smolyar and Caio Collet. Author of a good fifth place in Race 1, Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) finished 7th, after having struggled with Frederik Vesti for a long time. This is worse than his compatriot Clément Novalak (Trident), best tricolor in the race with his 5th final place and the two points for the best lap in the race.

The good operation is total in the driver rankings for Jack Doohan. Since his victory allows him to take thirteen points from championship leader Dennis Hauger (Prema). The Norwegian only scored two small points with his 9th place, after starting from 14th position. Before the main race on Sunday morning, he therefore came back to 46 points behind Dennis Hauger and regained hope in the title race.
