It's a small feeling. For the first time since the creation of this championship in 2019, Prema let a title slip away. If Dennis Hauger allowed the Italian team adorned in red to win the drivers' championship, it was Trident who snatched the Teams' title. He had to regain 31 points from Prema in this final race of the year, the mission was accomplished thanks to the victory of Jack Doohan (Trident), who thereby consolidates his second place in the championship, and the third place of Clément Novalak, who showed an absolutely impeccable collective state of mind.

Six points difference between Trident and Prema

The Trident pit wall actually had a few cold sweats during the race. Novalak in fact spent all his time in his teammate's exhausts. And when the Frenchman, who seemed to have more pace, attacked the Australian on the 12th lap, Doohan did not give in and the team then asked him not to defend too much, the virtual gap with Prema being tenuous. But when the Frenchman managed to overtake on the 17th lap, the Aussie immediately regained his place, even if it meant going wheel to wheel with his teammate. The Frenchman ended up losing juice in his tires and was overtaken by Frederik Vesti (ART Grand Prix), who finished, like last season, 4th in the championship.

More fear than harm for Trident, who took the title by six points! The Italian team did the job on its side, but it also took advantage of Prema's setbacks. Drivers' champion Dennis Hauger was indeed the victim of a non-responsible collision with Oliver Rasmussen (HWA Racelab). The six points from Arthur Leclerc, 7th, did not allow Prema to score enough. For his part, Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) delivered a solid race from 12th position to finish 8th. The Habs finished 5th in the championship and quite easily the best rookie of the season.
