FIA F3 – Vesti on pole in Styria, Pourchaire 5th

Sebastien Philippe, the main team of the Burgundy ART Grand Prix team, warned at the end of the last Grand Prix: "Theo Pourchaire will be there next weekend”. It is clear that he was right. Author of the 5th fastest time in qualifying for the Styrian Grand Prix this Friday just 0" from pole, the young Frenchman (2 years old) will start from the 16rd row and will try to get his first points of the season. His teammate Clément Novalak, very prominent last week, finished ahead of his teammates but will start 3th (Carlin, +25 »1). 

Pole position goes to Frédérik Vesti, champion of F3 Regional Europe title winner (1'20"378). The Dane beat David Beckmann (Trident/+0 »1). The German's performance prevents Prema from signing the hat-trick since Logan sargeant (3rd, +0 »1), who was unable to finish the session after a technical problem on his car, and Oscar piastri (4th, +0 »2), the championship leader, failed to secure a red podium. 

Note that the session was disrupted by the appearance of two red flags. The first came mid-session, after Sebastian Fernandez (ART) went off the road. Poleman last week, the Venezuelan retired at the first turn in race 1 after contact with Piastri.
