After podiums, Sprint Race victories and a pole position, Isack Hadjar has come full circle. Starting from the first position on the grid, the Hitech GP driver put in a very solid performance this Sunday to sign his 3e success of the season, its 1er in the Main Race.

To achieve this, Isack Hadjar first had to overcome the poor conditions of the Red Bull Ring. It was therefore on a wet track that the member of the Red Bull Junior Team gave the flying start. If he controlled his flight while maintaining his property, the Ile-de-France native did not have an easy start to the race. Under pressure from Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) and undoubtedly under that of a possible first victory in the Main Race, moreover on the land of his main sponsor, the Frenchman suffered a few small scares while visiting the outside off the track twice in the first laps.

Although pressed by his compatriot, Isack Hadjar was able to find the necessary resources to take things in hand. After a few passes beyond the curbs, he was able to put his plan into action and began to set good times. From then on, a gap of a handful of seconds was created with Victor Martins unable to keep up with his childhood friend.

With great precision and above all perfect management, the Hitech GP driver continued to dictate his own pace, thus giving himself some air at the head of the peloton. Shortly after the halfway mark, the gap between him and Victor Martins exceeded 4 seconds and even rose to 6 seconds before the Safety Car intervened on the 21st lap (crash between Chovanek and Pizzi). Nothing to destabilize Isack Hadjar who mastered the restart in the 23rd of the 25 passages on the program.

Almost alone in the world, or even truly alone in the world, Isack Hadjar imposed his law this weekend, further confirming the hopes placed in him by Helmut Marko and company. After pole position this Friday, it was his first victory in the Main Race that the Frenchman won ahead of Victor Martins and Oliver Bearman (Prema) relegated to more than 3 seconds. Arthur Leclerc (Prema) and Zane Maloney (Trident) completed the Top 5

In the championship, this third victory of the season, the first in the Main Race, results in an excellent operation. Coming up to 3rd after his very good weekend at Silverstone, Isack Hadjar is 3nd in the standings. Having left Austria with 2 points, the Ile-de-France resident is only one small length behind leader Victor Martins who has 27 points. Fourth on arrival, Arthur Leclerc fell to 98rd with 3 units.
