HWA reveals its drivers for the 2020 season

After a promising first season in F3 at the end of which it took 5th place in the Teams ranking, HWA Racelab will have to confirm in 2020. The German team revealed its crew by retaining Jake Hughes for another year.

Seventh last year, the 25-year-old Briton gave the team its first victory on the F3 scene and he will remain at the forefront this season.

“I want to use my experience to help the team this season, he comments. I'm sure things will seem simpler this year. The goal is clear: to take the team and my career to the next level. »

F3 Asia runner-up Jack Doohan will make his debut in the championship after taking part in post-season testing in Valencia (Spain) with Hitech GP.

The crew will be completed by a second rookie in the person of Enzo Fittipaldi, Italian F4 champion in 2018 and member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. The grandson of Emerson Fittipaldi also took part in post-season testing with Prema Racing.

“After a promising first season, we will use our acquired experience to improve and regularly finish with more than one driver on the podium, announces HWA director Ulrich Fritz. We did not select Jack and Enzo for their names, but for their immense talents that they have demonstrated in recent years. This is a new milestone for both of them and they will have Jake as a good teacher. »

HWA Racelab is the second team to have revealed its full line-up, with ART GP having already confirmed Théo Pouchaire, Alexander Smolya and Sebastian Fernandez.
