After the F2, the French GP will lose another support championship next year with the absence of the F3. The championship will, however, have one additional round compared to this year, but the calendar will instead open at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain and the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. Seven of the nine rounds will be contested in Europe.
