Logan Sargeant takes pole for Race 1

American Logan Sargeant (Prema) took his first pole position of the season at Silverstone. Thanks to his first leading position, he allows Prema to equalize ART Grand Prix in the number of poles this season (2).

The American pilot Logan sargeant will start in pole position for race 1 of the Grand Prix of F3 from the United Kingdom. The Prema driver was ahead Liam Lawson. (Hitech / +0 »058) and his teammate championship leader Oscar piastri (Prema Racing / +0 »126). He took the opportunity to pocket the four points from pole position and come back to 22 points behind the Australian in the championship.

After having monopolized the first three places of the session for a while, Prema saw the Hitech team raise their level at the end of the session to finally place Liam Lawson on the front row and Max Fewtrell on the 2nd (4th). The third driver of the Italian team Frédérik Vesti will start from 5th position and confirms his difficulties in hanging on to his teammates since his pole and victory won at the Styrian Grand Prix.

French side, Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) may be disappointed. The Frenchman, fastest in the morning free practice session, was only able to set the 12th fastest time in qualifying, on a hot tarmac. He was beaten by his compatriot Clement Novalak (Carlin), author of the 10th time. The first race will take place on Saturday morning at 10:25 a.m.
