There was a lack of action in this first race of the 2023 season. F3. And for good reason. In the animosity at the start of the exercise, there were numerous racing incidents, such as the clash between Rafael Villagómez (VAR) and Gabriel Bortoleto (Trident) which ended with heavy contact with the wall of the first cited. At the front, Pepe Martí (Campos) and pole sitter Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) stayed away and were able to engage in a nice little battle.

In a race that was choppy and restarted twice, Franco Colapinto was well on his way to securing a 3e career victory in F3. The Argentine even mastered his subject very well by holding Pepe Martí behind but that was without taking into account the very good pace of the Spaniard at the end of the race.

Well helped by his fresh tires and of course the DRS, the Catalan had no trouble getting rid of the South American with 6 laps to go. If he had to resist Franco Colapinto in the process, Pepe Martí gradually took off until he definitively sheltered himself from a response from his counterpart. Enough to head towards his first victory in F3 as he competes in his second season in the category, all hailed by a certain Fernando Alonso who defends his interests. Caio Collet (VAR) completed the podium just over 4 seconds from the lead.
