Théo Pourchaire joins ART Grand Prix

Theo Pourchaire takes a new step by landing in F3 with ART Grand Prix. The 16-year-old Frenchman has little experience of car, but his talent is undeniable.

Champion of the Junior category in the French F4 Championship and 3rd in the general classification for his only season in the discipline in 2018, he won the Winfield Trophy and became a member of the Sauber Junior Team by Charouz before winning German F4 this year.

“This is a new challenge for me and I am delighted that ART GP has offered me this chance to evolve in F3, indicates Théo Pourchaire who took part in post-season testing in Valencia (Spain) last October. It will be a big step to climb from German F4, but I feel ready. We faced all possible conditions in these tests, from dry to wet or with drying tracks. »

“ART gave me ideas to work on and I know how to improve, continues the French pilot. I know that I have a good margin for improvement and it will be my goal to improve week after week in order to be ready to face the best at the end of the season. I still have to learn a lot, but I know that I will be able to achieve it within a team like ART Grand Prix. »

ART Grand Prix has already confirmed Alexander Smolyar, this 18-year-old Russian from Formula Renault Eurocup which will also start in F3.
