Yifei Ye joins Hitech GP

Hitech GP now has its crew completed with the confirmation of Yifei Ye alongside Juri Vips and Leonardo Pulcini. The vice-champion of the F3 Asia Winter Series was the first Chinese in 2015 to compete in the French F4 Championship before winning the title the following year with no less than 14 victories.

The Asian then toughened up by competing in the Formula Renault Eurocup and the NEC version within Josef Kaufmann Racing where he also experienced several successes.

“Hitech GP is one of the leading teams in Europe due to the results obtained in recent years, comments Yifei Ye. I also proved my worth as a Chinese driver by fighting for the title last year in Formula Renault Eurocup. I feel very confident within Hitec GP being alongside two very qualified experienced teammates. »

“It will be a difficult season tackling a new F3 series with a field of 30 cars, but I am sure that the team will give me the weapons to fight immediately at the front”, specified the Chinese.
