The start of the second season of the Formula e proves to be very complicated for Trulli Formula E Team. After withdrawing from the Beijing ePrix (China) last month due to a lack of parts stuck at customs, the Italian team will miss the second event contested this Saturday, November 7 in Putrajaya (Malaysia) after having failed technical inspections.
“It is with great regret that we must announce that we will not compete in tomorrow’s race. Everyone worked very hard so that we were able to fight…”, said Lucio Cavuto, Team Principal of Trulli Formula E Team.
“We are sure that everything will be in order for Punta del Este (December 19 in Uruguay). I would like to thank the FIA and the organizers for extending the inspection time. Unfortunately for us, we didn't have enough time to finish the cars », said the team director.
Jarno Trulli was due to return to the wheel this weekend following the departure of Salvador Duran. Vitantonio Liuzzi was scheduled for the second car.
