- Another failure for JEV! Like Saturday, Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Penske) was beaten in the qualifying final on the Misano circuit, and will have to settle for second place on the starting grid for the Misano 2 E-Prix. This is Jake Hughes (McLaren) which deprived the Frenchman of a 17th pole position in Formula E, which would have constituted a record in the discipline.
- However, the Briton was the strongest in the exercise this Sunday morning: Jake Hughes signed the absolute best times in the final phase, successively beating Stoffel Vandoorne (DS Penske), Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche) and therefore Jean-Éric Vergne for two tenths in this final duel.
- Oliver Rowland (Nissan), winner on green carpet of the first race contested in Misano and leader of the championship, failed at the gate of the final phase during the qualifications of Group A: the Briton will start from 10th place... on the same line as Jake Dennis (Andretti), his runner-up in the championship, who will start 9th.
- Difficult next day for Antonio Félix da Costa: deprived of his victory during the Misano 1 E-Prix following a disqualification for a non-compliant part on his Porsche, the Portuguese set the last time in Group A and will therefore start from the last line this Sunday afternoon…
- As in qualifying the day before, the two other French people on the grid did not manage to get into the final phase: eliminated in the group phase, Norman Nato (Andretti) will start 16th and Sacha Fenestraz (Nissan) 13th.
