Starting second on the grid behind Frenchman Gabriel Aubry (Tech 1 Racing), author of pole position in qualifying this morning, Will Palmer (R-ace GP) managed a better start than the poleman to take the lead when braking for the first chicane.
A maneuver which will be decisive in the end since despite the intervention of the safety car following a collision between Chaves (AVF) and Peroni (Fortec), the son of Jonathan Palmer will remain in the lead until the end to win his first success of the year.
The driver of the French structure R-ace GP is ahead of Sacha Fenestraz (Josef Kaufmann Racing) under the checkered flag, once again second, after a comeback from fifth place on the starting grid.
After getting rid of Max Defourny (R-ace GP), Fenestraz will take advantage of a clash between Aubry and yesterday's winner Robert Shwartzman (R-ace GP) at the first chicane to move up two places in the hierarchy .
The podium is completed by Defourny, another beneficiary of this clash.
