After taking pole and winning Race 1, Daniil Kvyat (Koiranen) scored his second success in two starts at Motorland Aragon after starting from the front row. Oscar Tunjo (Tech 1 Racing) had started well from his pole but the Colombian gave in to the Koiranen driver on the first lap. The leader was never caught afterwards and won ahead of the driver of the French team.
Nyck de Vries was to sign a new podium while he debuts in car but the Fortec Motorsports driver received a 25-second penalty for regaining his position after a spin during the formation lap. The Frenchman Norman Nato (RC Formula) thus recovers third place ahead of Stoffel Vandoorne (Josef Kaufmann Racing) and Esteban Ocon (Koiranen).
