FR 3.5 – Arthur Pic on pole at Motorland

Arthur Pic is starting the season in the best way since the Frenchman took pole in Race 1 at Motorland Aragon. Nick Yelloly will start alongside him on the front row. Jules Bianchi takes fifth place.

FR 3.5 – Arthur Pic on pole at Motorland

After a season of learning within Tech 1 Racing, Arthur Pic seems determined to play at the forefront at Motorland Aragon. The Frenchman, who joined the Dams team this season, set the best time in qualifying for Race 1 with a time of 1'40"027. The gaps are, however, very close since Nick Yelloly (Comtec Racing), the poleman's closest rival, is only a tenth behind.

Behind Kevin Korjus (Tech 1 Racing) and Richie Stanaway (Lotus), Jules Bianchi (Tech 1 Racing) took fifth place, just two tenths behind his compatriot. Force India reserve driver opts to compete in Formula Renault 3.5 Series to continue to progress in competition and he risks being served since the first 19 drivers are grouped together in less than a second.
