Arthur Pic (Dams) already had the opportunity to win yesterday at Motorland Aragon by starting from pole but the Frenchman was forced to retire following contact with Jake Rosenzweig (ISR). He gave himself a second chance by once again taking pole for Race 2, ahead of Marco Sorensen (Lotus) and Robin Frijns (Fortec Motorsports) by more than two tenths. Sam Bird (ISR) and Carlos Huertas (Fortec Motorsports) complete the top five.
Jules Bianchi (Tech 1 Racing) will start from seventh position behind his teammate Kevin Korjus. The Frenchman took second place in Race 1 yesterday before being downgraded following a non-compliance with the stacking of the limited slip differential discs noted on his car. Nick Yelloly (Comtec Racing), the winner of the first race, will only start from 13th position.
