FR2.0-C1: Ben Barnicoat regains victory at Le Mans

With the Josef Kaufmann Racing drivers dueling at the first corner, Ben Barnicoat took the opportunity to take the lead ahead of Kevin Jörg and Louis Delétraz, battling with Jack Aitken (Koiranen GP) and Ukyo Sasahara (ART Junior Team). In the peloton, Harrison Scott (AVF) lost numerous positions while Thiago Vivacqua (JD Motorsport) spun.

If the gap between Ben Barnicoat and Kevin Jörg stabilized around second while Louis Delétraz had to manage the pressure that Jack Aitken and Ukyo Sasahara imposed on him. Behind, the duel between Dennis Olsen (Manor MP Motorsport) and Anthoine Hubert (Tech 1 Racing) allowed the return of Jake Hughes (Koiranen GP), who started from the seventh row. The Briton, however, had to retire following a broken suspension on the twelfth lap.

After the retirement of Darius Oskoui (ART Junior Team) and the accident of Bruno Baptista (Manor MP Motorsport), the race management waved the red flag. Ben Barnicoat thus sealed his victory ahead of Kevin Jörg and Louis Delétraz. Jack Aitken finished close to the podium, followed by Ukyo Sasahara and Anthoine Hubert, who had found an opening on Dennis Olsen on the fourteenth lap. Ignazio D?Agosto (Manor MP Motorsport) followed the Norwegian. Ninth, Valentin Hasse-Clot (Fortec Motorsports) was the best rookie and scored his first points. Martin Kodrić (Fortec Motorsports) completed the top ten.
