FR2.0-C2: Shwartzman wins at Le Castellet

Robert Shwartzman (R-ace GP) scored his 5th victory of the season in Formula Renault Eurocup by winning Race 2 of the Formula Renault Eurocup at Le Castellet (Var) ahead of Sacha Fenestraz (Josef Kaufmann Racing) and Max Defourny (R-ace GP).

After losing his victory in Race 1 for his collision with the leader of the Drivers' classification, Robert Shwartzman dominated the event from start to finish to take 7 points from the Frenchman and reduce his deficit to 20 points.

He also takes second place in the Championship against Will Palmer (R-ace GP) who completed the top five between Gabriel Aubry (Tech 1 Racing) and Daniel Ticktum (Arden), winner in the Rookies.

Max Defourny (R-ace GP), the winner the day before, completed the podium by finishing alongside Sacha Fenestraz. The Belgian's result remains provisional since his overtaking of Gabriel Aubry is under investigation.
