Already author of a historic hat-trick the day before in Race 1, Mumbai Falcons this time placed two of its drivers on the podium in Race 2 this Saturday morning. Dino Beganovic indeed won his first race in F3 Regional, ahead of Russian Michael Belov (Evans GP) and ahead of his teammate Arthur Leclerc. Starting 8th on the grid, the Swede took his time to come back up. He first avoided the mayhem, before carrying out his attacks, from the outside each time, on Dilano van't Hoff then on Belov for the victory.

The Prema driver took the opportunity to make a huge leap in the championship, as he moved up to second position just behind Arthur Leclerc (Mumbai Falcons). Already author of a superb operation on Saturday in Race 1, when he took advantage of the five-second penalties inflicted on Isack Hadjar and Leonardo Fornaroli to get on the podium, the Monegasque managed another very intelligent race to sign a fifth podium in nine races. He took the opportunity to increase his lead at the top of the championship.

Hadjar's misfortunes

Starting 8th, Charles' brother quickly moved back into the peloton, and stood out in particular thanks to two successful overtakes on the third lap, on Pepe Marti and Leonardo Fornaroli. A final maneuver on van't Hoff four laps from the goal allowed him to secure the podium, but he was unable to do anything behind Michael Belov, determined to keep his second place after starting from pole. The main thing is elsewhere for Leclerc, who is doing well in the championship, since Sebastian Montoya and especially Isack Hadjar both finished outside the top 10.

While he showed big ambitions from 6th place, Isack Hadjar (Hitech) actually had a nightmare race. The Frenchman was apparently trapped in the exhausts of Paul Aron (Abu Dhabi Racing by Prema) when he spun on the first lap. The images of the production do not quite allow us to know what really happened. One thing is certain, the Tricolore indeed completed the entire race with a damaged front wing. So he only fell back lap after lap, finally finishing 12th. The other Frenchmen Pierre-Louis Chovet (BlackArts) and Owen Tangavelou (Hitech) finished 8th and 18th respectively.
