FRAC – Leclerc and Hadjar snatch the last poles of the year

We take the same and start again. Strong men of this 2022 edition of the Formula Regional Asian Championship (FRAC) even if the results were not identical for the two, Arthur Leclerc (Mumbai Falcons) and Isack Hajar (R-ace GP) dominated their comrades at the time to fight for the pole positions put into play this Friday.

Leader of the championship and very close to the coronation, Arthur Leclerc did not go into detail during the first qualifying session. With a best lap of 1'49"943, the Monegasque was the only driver under 1'50 at Yas Marina and was almost 3 tenths (+0"293) behind his closest pursuer Jak Crawford (Abu Dhabi Racing) . His teammate Dino Beganovic completed the Top 3 but was 0 behind on the line.

At the bottom of the Top 5, there are two Hitech GP drivers that we find with Isack Hajar 4th and Gabriele Mini 5th. The first man also distinguished himself as the fastest man in the second session of the day in the Emirate.

Finally rewarded last weekend in Dubai with his first pole position of the campaign, Isack Hadjar doubled his lead this Friday. Beaten by a little more than 4 tenths by Arthur Leclerc during Q1, the Ile-de-France resident returned the favor in Q2, even improving the Monegasque's 1'49"943 with a time of 1'49"499.

Under the checkerboard, Jak Crawford once again ranked 2nd, almost 4 tenths behind the Frenchman's mark, while Gabriele Mini finished 3rd. On pole earlier during the day, Arthur Leclerc this time settled for 6th fastest time just behind Paul Aron (Abu Dhabi Racing) and Pepe Martí (Pinnacle Racing).
