Already beaten by Sebastian Montoya 7 days ago, Isack Hadjar once again settled for 2nd position on the grid at the end of the first qualifying sessions of the weekend. Author of a best lap in 1'54"461 during Q1, the Ile-de-France native was not able to take pole position, which went to Paul Aron thanks to a time in 1'54"332, his first in the countryside.

Very consistent since the Dubai rounds, Pepe Marti took 3rd position, finishing a little less than 2 tenths behind Paul Aron's benchmark. To find traces of a car from Mumbai Falcons we have to go down to 4th place where we find Dino Beganovic with a lap of 1'54"642 giving up more than 3 tenths on the poleman. His teammate and championship leader Arthur Leclerc comes out with the 5th time.

Aron doubles the bet

In good shape for this last meeting in Dubai before setting sail for Abu Dhabi, Paul Aron once again pulled out all the stops to end the day on a very good note. The fastest man in Q1, the Estonian was also the fastest man in Q2.

By improving his previous mark by 2 tenths to sign a 1'54"108, the Abu Dhabi Racing driver was ahead of Arthur Leclerc in the final moments, relegated to 43 thousandths of a second. Already present in the Top 5 in Q1, Dino Beganovic this time entered the Top 3 by finishing less than a tenth from Paul Aron.

Second in the first session, Isack Hadjar remains in contact with the 4th fastest time, 3 tenths from the benchmark. Back with Hitech GP for this weekend, Gabriele Mini completes the Top 5. Also note that the first 10 drivers are within 5 tenths.
