Gabriele Mini crowned Italian F4 champion

We introduced you to his portrait in our November 11 issue (AH n°2286): Gabriele Mini was crowned Italian F4 champion this weekend, one round before the end of the season. Winner of his fifth race of the season at Imola, the Sicilian also took two second places, the last of which, this Sunday afternoon behind Jack Crawford, allowed him to be beyond the 75 points gap required by compared to his runner-up Francesco Pizzi (Van Amersfoort), before the last round scheduled in two weeks at Vallelunga.

Virtuoso of karting, Mini has perfectly negotiated its transition to car. In addition to his five victories, the young man (15 years old) has scored eleven podiums in eighteen races within a peloton which sometimes numbers around 35 drivers. He should enter Formula Alpine in 2021, in a championship in which he will be one of the big favorites.
