GP3-C1: Matt Parry's lone rider

Nyck de Vries will have to wait before achieving his first victory in the discipline. The Dutch ART Grand Prix driver was unable to take advantage of his successful qualifying this morning in Hungary, after stalling on the starting grid for the main race.

A mishap which ultimately benefited the Briton Matt Parry (Koiranen GP). Second on the grid, Parry resisted attacks from Antonio Fuoco (Trident) at the first corner, to maintain the advantage and subsequently widen the gap on his pursuers.

The native of Cardiff in Wales will no longer be worried until the checkered flag and is ahead of Fuoco and Jake Dennis (Arden). Nirei Fukuzumi places first car ART Grand Prix in fourth position ahead of Ralph Boschung (Koiranen GP).

Charles Leclerc (ART Grand Prix), down since free practice, ranks sixth, but ahead of his teammate Alex Albon, his main rival in the championship. Arjun Maini (Jenzer Motorsport) finished eighth and will benefit from the reverse grid rule to start from pole tomorrow in the sprint race. Giuliano Alesi (Trident) finished the race in 19th place.
