Arjun maini concluded in the best possible way an important week in his career. Confirmed as Haas F1 Team development driver, the young 19-year-old Indian driver, took his first victory in the GP3 Series this morning on the Catalan track in Barcelona.

Starting second on the grid, driver Jenzer took the advantage over pole sitter Raoul Hyman (Campos Racing) from the first corner. Dorian Boccolacci (Trident) subsequently kept the pressure on the new leader during the first part of the race, before a slight error at the first corner on the sixth lap caused him to lose a few lengths.

On the podium the day before, Alessio Lorandi (Jenzer) animated the event and began his comeback from sixth place, to threaten Boccolacci's second place. The Italian finally won a new podium behind the best French representative this Sunday.

The three ART Grand Prix single-seatersAnthoine Hubert, George Russell and Nirei Fukuzumi finished the race in that order from fourth to sixth place. Raoul Hyman finished in seventh place ahead of Santino Ferrucci (DAMS), Kevin Jörg (Trident) and the French Julien Falchero (Campos Racing) tenth and Giuliano Alesi (Trident) eleventh.
