GP3 – C2: The pass of three for Alesi

Everything was decided at the start for the Frenchman who, starting from the first row, passed his compatriot Julien Falchero (Campos) for the lead of the race. At the rear, the climb begins for the ART GP drivers even if it ends short for Jack Aitken who punctures his tire against the wing before Dorian Boccolacci (Trident).

George Russell (ART GP), despite a bad start, sets a phenomenal pace for his competitors and leaves them no chance in Les Combes. In ten laps, he moved up seven places and was content with second position, Alesi being too far in front of him.

Giuliano Alesi (Trident) wins his third GP3 short race victory in a row ahead of George Russell and Ryan Tveter (Trident). Nirei Fukuzumi (ART GP) who also missed his start, moves up to 4e position ahead of Julien Falchero (Campos). Arjun Maini (Jenzer) finishes 6e before Anthoine Hubert (ART GP) which started from the 19e place on the rack. Kevin Jörg (Trident) finishes 8e ahead of Niko Kari (Arden), ranked 9e after a five-second penalty. Raoul Hyman (Campos) completes the top 10. Matthieu Vaxiviere (DAMS) finished 15th in the race.
