Hauger wins main race in Barcelona

Starting from pole and strong at the start to resist the attack of Victor Martins (MP Motorsport), Dennis Hauger (Prema) won his first race of Formula 3 this Sunday in Barcelona. The Norwegian led the race masterfully, managing a comfortable gap of around three seconds throughout the race.

The battle for the podium was rather intense. If Victor Martins managed to take second place at the first corner, a small error on the second lap at the chicane allowed Matteo Nannini (HWA Racelab) to pass, imitated by Jack Doohan (Trident) a few laps later. The Australian finally managed to get the better of the Italian halfway through the race, to take 2nd place.

For his part, Victor Martins did not seem very comfortable in race pace but the Habs managed to resist Clement Novalak (Trident) in the final laps to secure an important fifth place in the championship race.

Clément Novalak (Trident) confirms that he was one of the strong men of the weekend with a solid 6th place acquired the day after a podium and a 4th place. For their part, Reshad de Gerus (Charouz) and Pierre-Louis Chovet (Jenzer) finished 23rd and 24th.
