Alonso's team joins the Formula Renault Eurocup

The first season contested with the new Formula Renault Eurocup will welcome ten teams including 3 new ones in the Losange paddock: BhaiTech Racing, FA Racing by Drivex and M2 Compétition.

BhaiTech Racing has built a reputation in Italian F4 while M2 Compétition is used to racing in New Zealand. As for FA Racing by Drivex, already present in karting and in F4, his initials refer to a certain Fernando Alonso who heads this team.

“It is a true honor to see the FA Racing by Drivex team pre-selected for the 2019 season. Formula Renault has produced some of my most formidable competitors. This underlines the extent to which the level of competitiveness is extremely high! comments the double world champion F1. After launching FA Racing in karting, e-sport and car, Formula Renault represents the logical continuation of our development. The arrival of the new car was an opportunity to start this new adventure on an equal footing and we can't wait to be on the starting grid to show what we're made of! On a personal level, it is a great pleasure to continue my story with Renault. »

They will face established structures in the discipline including R-ace GP which is the reference team after its Drivers and Teams titles, Josef Kaufmann Racing, JD Motorsport, Tech 1 Racing, AVF by Adrian Vallés, Arden Motorsport and MP Motorsport.
