The GP3 in production

The GP3 Series is taking shape, after several months of testing the car which will be used next year. After the designation of the ten teams chosen to participate in this new championship, the organizers have now set the standards for this single-seater, production of which has begun. The cars will be delivered to the stables from January.

« It was a very good experience for me, confides Vitaly Petrov, runner-up in the GP2 Series and who helped develop the car during testing sessions. Developing the car and working in collaboration with Pirelli on the definition of the tires gives a global vision of the future of the series. I am convinced that GP3 is the best stage to prepare for the next stage, GP2. »

As for the technical director, Didier Perrin, he is confident for the future. “ We are on schedule, not only in terms of our development program but also in terms of the production process. I am quite satisfied with the level of competitiveness of our car and its general behavior. Its ease of driving is very similar to a GP2 car, which was one of our main objectives. »
