Liam Lawson sets the pace in Bahrain

The second day FIA tests F3 from Bahrain saw Liam Lawson (Hitech GP) increase the tempo on the Sakhir route. The resident of the lap Red Bull signed the absolute best time of these winter runs so far, completing a lap in 1'46"365 during the afternoon session, despite a windy day.

And thus do better than Devlin DeFrancesco (Trident) author yesterday of a lap in 1'46″844. Lawson is ahead of the Franco-Swiss Clément Novalak (Carlin) this Monday in cumulative time by more than half a second, when Alex Peroni places his car Campos Racing just under six tenths behind the leader.

Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix), 6th in a morning dominated by David Schumacher (Charouz), took 8th place in the afternoon, without however improving his personal best lap established yesterday in 1'47″093, which had earned the Frenchman a top 5 in the afternoon.

Sophia Flörsch (Campos Racing) finished twice 12th this Monday. Two red flags were counted with the stops on track by Matteo Nannini (Jenzer) in the morning, when Niko Kari (Charouz) caused a neutralization of the session at the very end of the day.
