If Niccolo Nalio (Oregon Team) had also won pole in Race 2 at Spa-Francorchamps, the poleman was unable to do anything against the unbeatable Bas Schothorst (TDS Racing) who won his fourth success in four races and seems well on his way to replacing Stefano Comini who crushed the Championship last year. The Dutchman was able to pass to the regular Albert Costa before the Virage des Combes despite the difficulty of overtaking on a wet track and took the lead of the race after the pit stops where his team shone.
Niccolo Nalio can only settle for second place, crossing the finish line more than six seconds behind the winner. Albert Costa completes the podium ten seconds behind, while Nicolas Milan and Kevin Gilardoni complete the quartet of Oregon drivers beaten once again by the Dutchman who takes the lead in the Championship.
