Honda has presented its list of drivers registered for the 2020 Super Formula season. The arrival of Tatiana Calderon within the ThreeBond Racing with Drago Corse team. The 26-year-old Colombian who held the position of test pilot withinAlfa Romeo F1 just finished his 2019 campaign in 22nd place in the F2.
She is the second woman to participate in the Japanese single-seater championship after Sarah Kavanagh who competed in the discipline... in 1997!
“With this recruitment, we are fulfilling a new wish for ThreeBond Racing which is to always try new things and create history”, notes team owner Ryo Michigami.
B-Max Racing with Motopark will have an entirely new crew with the arrival of Frenchman Charles Milesi as well as Pietro Fittipaldi. Finally, TCS Nakajima Racing will field Tadasuke Makino, but it will be Toshiki Oyu who will drive the second car in place of Alex Palou.
Team Dandelion will leave with Naoki Yamamoto and Nirei Fukuzumi. Team Mugen will retain Jüri Vips and Tomoki Nojiri by only fielding two cars. If Koudai Tsukakoshi defended the interests of Real Racing last year, the team does not yet have a confirmed driver for the new season.
