Nojiri wins at Autopolis, Fenestraz drops out again

Supported by Honda, the experienced Tomoki Nojiri scored his third victory in Super Formula this Sunday, November 14 at Autopolis (Japan). The 31-year-old driver also reports the first success in 2020 for Team Mugen.

Naoki Yamamoto (Dandelion Racing) came close to winning by six tenths. The Japanese postponed his obligatory pit stop until the penultimate lap and erased a four-second deficit in just a few kilometers.

The third step on the podium is occupied by Tadasuke Makino (Nakajima Racing). For his debut in the discipline, Frenchman Charles Milesi (B-Max) arrived in 15th place, ahead of Tatiana Calderon (ThreeBond Drago Corse)

The Franco-Argentinian Sacha Fenestraz (Kondo Racing) retired again. This time, it was not a competitor who hit him but a loose right rear wheel which got the better of his race on the fifth lap.
