The fault lies with Marcos Martinez in the first race, then with Charles Pic in the second. It gave confidence to all the guys, starting with our drivers. » Indeed, in addition to Pic’s pole, Brendon Hartley, not very effective this season in the series he competes in, was able to add a third place to the qualifying menu for Tech 1.

During the first race, the reversed positions offer little hope to the French team, which nevertheless sees its two drivers put in a serious race to finish in the Top 8 (Hartley 5th, Pic 7th). Sunday's race was the meeting awaited by the French, who would be able to benchmark their level of performance by starting from pole.
