They fought a fierce battle in Formula 4 ADAC in 2020. And they will both take the plunge to the FIA F3 This year. The two protégés of Red Bull Jak Crawford and Jonny Edgar will not go to Formula Regional Alpine and will find themselves directly in FIA F3 in 2021. The Briton Jonny Edgar (16 years old), champion for his second season in F4, will drive for Carlin.
For his part, the American Jak Crawford (15 years old!) will ride for Hitech Grand Prix, in a team with which another driver from the Red Bull fold shone last season, the New Zealander Liam Lawson. French F4 champion Ayumu Iwasa, impressive in his solidity for his first European campaign, is also joining Junior Team Red Bull and will drive alongside Crawford at Hitech in FIA F3.
