Sten Pentus the most skillful in Monaco

Sten Pentus (Fortec) is at ease at the start of the Formula season Renault 3.5 Series. More experienced than most of its rivals, Pentus has been able to make the most of the qualities of its car, while avoiding making mistakes. Something that Federico Leo (Pons Racing) and Julian Leal (International Draco Racing) were unable to avoid, the latter having caused the end of the session by crashing out of the Tunnel a few minutes before the end of the countdown.

It was ultimately Sten Pentus who achieved the best time, ahead of Mikhail Aleshin (Carlin), winner of two races this season) and Alexander Red (ISR), impressive as he debuts in the discipline. “ It?s nice to ride on this circuit aboard a single-seater that I now use perfectly well, says Sten Pentus. The new circuit coating is very effective. I now know that I can go fast here, so I have to concentrate and try to put everything in order in qualifying. »

« I already know the ISR team well, since I rode with them in Formula Master last season, confides Alex Rossi, 2008 Formula BMW USA champion. This allows me to evolve in a familiar environment and helps me progress quickly. The first minutes on this circuit are just crazy. It took me a few rounds to understand how it works here. I find this single-seater really efficient and quite easy to drive. I loved this session, can't wait for Saturday. »
