V de V Endurance Series – Dijon Prenois: An update on this Friday’s qualifying practice!

Qualifying tests Dijon – Single seat V of V:
With a very discreet start to the session, Timothé Buret surprised his opponents in the middle of the session by maintaining the best time for these first qualifying practices of the V de V meeting. Endurance Dijon series. While we followed the Cazzaniga / Perroy duel, it was Xavier Benecchi, a big fan of the Dijon circuit, who took second place followed by Jordan Perroy and the Italian Daniele Cazzaniga after a Full Yellow six minutes before the end of the tests deprives us of a highly disputed final explanation. The Franco-Swiss Antonin Borga is the first to pay the price and will be content with fifth place. In group B, no surprise Sylvain Milesi won ahead of the very young Austrian driver Moritz Mueller-Crepon.

Qualifying tests Dijon – Challenge Funyo V de V:
A very eventful start to testing with a red flag a few minutes after the track opened. The surprise of the day is Romain Houllier, the son of the boss of HMC, who achieves his best time before a Full Yellow, which will not allow the usual leaders of the category to fight for pole. The returning Jean-Pascal Burguet also maintains the advantage of his initial time, and will be on the second row. Side by side, the two other protagonists of the Championship, Jean Quelet and Serge Heriau, will therefore not have the opportunity to compete for this pole, just like Arlan Boulain and François Heriau. Truncated tests which give us a glimpse of a surprising first race!

Qualifying tests 2H Dijon Endurance VHC V de V:
This test session lets us predict two races for the price of one, on the one hand the Prototypes and on the other hand the GTs, in both categories we admire magnificent cars and experienced drivers who will explain themselves on two hours. In Prototype John DOE on the Lola T292/6 n°25 takes pole, followed by Gérard Pargamin with his Osella PA8 n°35 and Yann Le Calvez on his Elva MK8 n°3, they promise us a very open match which could well be refereed by the very young Paul Lafargue with his brand new Lola T298 which has just come out of restoration. In GT, Bernard Moreau on his Porsche 3L RSR was able to repel the attacks of the German crew Mülder/Simon and the astonishing De Tomaso Pantera of Karl Pedraza and Lionel Robert. But beware ! The very experienced Michel Nourry can step in just like the powerful TVR Ford of Alex Meynard and a certain Eric Van de Vyver. Finally, note that most of these crews are preparing during this event for the 2 Tours d?Horloge, the only 24-hour race in the world reserved for historic vehicles which await them in September on the circuit of the Paul Ricard!
