No motorcycles on track Friday in Argentina

Delays in transporting equipment from the three categories, including the Ducati of Enea Bastianini, world championship leader MotoGP, or even certain equipment manufacturers (helmets or wetsuits) forced the organizers to cancel the Friday sessions.

According to the official statement, five cargo flights were planned to ship equipment from the Lombok paddock to Tucuman, near Termas de Rio Hondo, in the week following the Indonesian GP. But due to two separate issues affecting two different flights, the last cargo for the Argentine GP will finally arrive in the country on Friday.

The free practice sessions will therefore begin on Saturday and qualifying for the three categories will take place on Saturday afternoon as usual, but these will start a little later. The warm-ups will last longer on Sunday morning and the races will respect the initially planned program.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, will hold a press conference at 17 p.m. (Paris time) to discuss this exceptional situation which led to this decision.
