Delecour with theAlpine A110 Rally R-GT at the Rallye du Touquet

Fans rally anxiously awaited this announcement since the first photos of the car appeared in the AUTO columnshebdo end of August 2019. This time, it's certain: theAlpine A110 Rally R-GT will make its competition debut as part of the Rally du Touquet 2020 (March 12-14)!

The opening of the French Asphalt Rally Championship will see the Berlinette hit the road with a popular driver, François Delecour, on board. The vice-world champion WRC 1993 is a specialist in the R-GT category, as evidenced by his title at European level in 2015 with a Porsche 911 997 GT3. 

“I'm super happy to be at the start of the Rallye du Touquet because I had an extraordinary feeling during the practice sessions, declares the northern pilot. It's well built, easy to drive and very fun, so I think it should suit northern roads well! » 

In addition, this news is accompanied by the signing of a partnership between Signatech and Team FJ. The structure based in Saint-Denis-sur-Loire (Loir-et-Cher) is entrusted the marketing and exploitation of theAlpine A110 Rally R-GT, parallel to Signatech in identical conditions.

Team FJ reports that the first cars will be available for sale from March 2020, and that a preparation and rental service will be offered. "TheAlpine is in the DNA of Team FJ since we work on Alpine since the 70s! 

It is therefore a magnificent experience to participate in this new adventure alongside Philippe Sinault, Lionel Chevalier and the entire Signatech team., enthuses Jean Galpin, program manager Alpine for Team FJ.
