Julien Maurin uncompromising at the Cévennes Rally

Julien Maurin can celebrate his title with champagne after dominating the 56th Rally of the Cévennes where the competition was still very thin to worry the new champion. The driver of the Ford Fiesta WRC won with almost three minutes ahead of the DS3 WRC of Jean-François Mourgues while Ludovic Gal completed the podium on his Fiesta S2000 by winning the Michelin Trophy with the absence of Gilles Nantet injured in the Rally from Antibes.

Laurent Laskowski managed to move his DS3 R3 to fourth place with a good lead over the Subaru Impreza of Jean-Nicolas Hot. Emmanuel Guigou ranks seventh behind Eric Camilli's DS3 R3 and wins the Trophy Renault R2 Twingo France while Axel Garcia is winner of the R1 category. Yoann Bonato resisted until the end to take victory and the Opel Adam Cup title.

After checks, Emmanuel Guigou lost his victory in the Twingo R2 Trophy at the Rallye des Cévennes following a tire recutting error. Yann Clairay inherited the success and the 25 points that went with it by finishing ahead of Nicolas Romiguière and Mathieu Sentis. The Championship leader will be assured of the title if he gets into the points at the Rallye du Var held from November 22 to 24.
