Meeke prepares for the end of the season at Mont-Blanc

Kris Meeke, during the Rally du Mont-Blanc, around Morzine, will be the distinguished guest of the fifth event of the French rally championship, whose ranking is dominated by Emmanuel Guigou and Guillaume Canivenq. The Briton, leader of the IRC, is keen to prepare for the Asturias Rally (September 10-12) as well as possible, by lining up at the start of the Mont-Blanc Rally at the wheel of a Peugeot 207 S2000, with Paul Nagle as co-driver.

« This is a great opportunity to increase my experience on asphalt and I am grateful for the opportunity “, Kris Meeke told Motorsport News. “ We will also be able to do some development work on the car. I know the Morzine region, where the rally is based, well from the trips I have made there to snowboard but this will be my first experience of the rally. It will be good preparation for Asturias and Sanremo. »
