Quentin Giordano enters the French Rally Championship

After evolving into WRC 2 last year with Sébastien Loeb Racing on a Peugeot 208 T16, Quentin Giordano will continue to evolve with the structure of the nine-time WRC champion with a new mount.

The Lorraine, co-driven by Thomas Roux, will compete in the entire French Asphalt Rally Championship for the first time, being entered in a Skoda Fabia R5, a benchmark in the category, equipped with the latest developments.

“Even though it has been many years now since I started in rally, I never had the opportunity to compete in a French Championship in its entirety. Of the nine rounds in which we will take part this season, I will discover no less than four! We will also be entered in the Michelin Trophy,” commented Quentin Giordano.

“The big news will come from our mount! We move on to the Skoda Fabia R5. I can't wait to try it out and see its potential. For this we are going to do the Spring Rally which will be held from March 4 to 5 in my village of Vézelise (Meurthe-et-Moselle). It will be a perfect opportunity to launch this 2017 campaign and also to get my bearings before the Rallye Le Touquet Pas-de-Calais, first round of the French Championship,” said the Frenchman.
