Rally – Death of Frédéric Comte

The fifth round of the 2015 French Rally Championship was mourned this Friday by the fatal accident suffered by Haute-Savoie driver Frédéric Comte.

After a third time in SS1, the No. 5 Citroën Xsara left the road in the second special of the event, hit a ditch and its driver was killed instantly. His co-pilot and companion Angélique Comte was evacuated to Thonon hospital (Haute-Savoie).

A regular presenter at Mont-Blanc, Frédéric Comte had created his own AFC Racing structure based in Allinges in Haute-Savoie.
