Rally – Manu Guigou retains his title in New Caledonia

With only seven points behind Patrick Christian before the Rally de Poya, final of the New Caledonian Championship, Manu Guigou still had every chance of winning a third consecutive title. With his co-pilot Michel Gaspard, the pilot of the Renault Clio R3 Maxi entered by Visa Location Groupe Jeandot dominated the fourth event of the season by winning all six special stages along the route.

Manu Guigou thus retains the title of champion of New Caledonia which he has not relinquished since 2012, accompanied by the coronation among the Manufacturers and in the 2 Wheel Drive category.
