Rouergue – Cuoq has the advantage over Sarrazin

Stéphane Sarrazin had a slight lead over Jean-Marie Cuoq at the end of the first stage of the Rally of Rouergue. Jean-Michel Da Cunha conserve sa troisième place mais aura du mal à hisser sa Citroën C4 WRC à une meilleure position, accusant désormais 51 secondes de retard sur la deuxième place avec 50km chronométrés restant à être disputés. Après Julien Maurin (Fiesta WRC), Pierre Roché (Mini JCW WRC), Bryan Bouffier (207 S2000) et Pascal Enjolras (Porsche 997) qui ont abandonné lors de la première étape, c’est au tour de Dany Snobeck de jeter l’éponge après un incendie qui s’est déclaré sur sa C4 WRC alors qu’il occupait la quatrième place. Cédric Robert et Freddy Loix en profitent pour hisser leur 207 S2000 au quatrième et cinquième rang tandis que Lionel Baud (307 WRC) et Gilles Nantet (Porsche 997 Cup) complètent le top sept.
