A specific trophy forAlpine A110 Rally

THEAlpine A110 Rally should pass its approval on March 1st to compete in competition from the spring. The French mount prepared for the R-GT category was developed last year by Signatech which adapted its 4-cylinder 1.8l turbo capable of developing 330hp to operate on the asphalt roads of the various championships.

Philippe Sinault's structure called on numerous pilots to perfect its mount. Emmanuel Guigou, Laurent Pellier, Yoann Bonato, Nicolas Ciamin, Pierre Ragues and François Delecour covered a total of around 5000km of tests.

“From the first tests, I felt that theAlpine A110 Rally was incredibly agile in the tight and stable in the fast, confided Emmanuel Guigou, multiple French two-wheel drive champion and ambassador of theAlpine A110 Rally. We were able to compare the times established on several bases and our results were positive. In addition, it reacts well to changes in settings. Its lightness is a real asset, as are new technologies such as traction control, ABS and departure procedure. In summary, it is a high-performance, easy car, suitable for everyone and which responds in its entirety to the DNA ofAlpine."

François Delecour should inaugurate the competitive debut of theAlpine A100 Rally by presenting itself at the Rally du Touquet (March 12-14).

“I am extremely happy to be at the start of the Rallye du Touquet with a Alpine A110 Rally, he said. I had an extraordinary feeling during the test sessions. It is well born, easy to drive and very fun. I think it should therefore be well suited to northern roads! »

Customers will be able to participate in the Trophy Alpine Rally created by Signatech which will be contested over 5 rounds of the French Asphalt Rally Championship: the Antibes Côte d'Azur Rally (May 15-17), the Aveyron Rouergue Rally (July 9-11), the Mont-Blanc Morzine Rally ( September 3-5), the Rallye Coeur de France (October 2-4) and the Rallye du Var (November 27-29). A general ranking and a ranking reserved for gentlemen will be established with rewards revealed soon. The drivers will be classified according to age (gentlemen will be drivers over 55 years old, reference to the year of birth of the brand Alpine). However, a selection committee will be set up to assess the value of the pilots on a case-by-case basis.

“One of the particularities of our profession is that development is never finished, but we have completed our initial program and we are very satisfied with the compromise reached by our product. The unanimous feedback so far is almost disturbing, but we wanted to make a car accessible to as many people as possible, which gives drivers confidence and supports them in their efforts and that is exactly what we have succeeded in doing.", welcomed Philippe Sinault, the director of Signatech.

Available for sale since January 1st at a price of €159 excluding tax, theAlpine A110 Rally should be available in a first series of 20 examples. A dozen cars have already been pre-ordered.
