Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) took advantage of the following two stages to catch up with the Hyundai driver. With less than two seconds between the two men, the five stages contested this afternoon could be decisive.
Author of the best time in the Collobrières special, Hugo Margaillan (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) managed to outrun Stéphane Sarrazin (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) by more than five seconds in the match for the Top 3.
Fifth after seven contested stages, Pierre Campana (Fabia Rally2 evo) must hold off Cédric Robert (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto). The latter admitted to having some difficulty getting his bearings behind the wheel of the Rally2.
Grégory Fontalba (A110 Rally) regained the lead in the 2 Wheel Drive classification and the Trophy Alpine Elf Rally just ahead of Loïc Panagiotis (A110 Rally-Team FJ). Distanced from the leading duo, Pierre Roché (A110 Rally-Team FJ) continued to discover propulsion control.
Léo Rossel (200 Rally4-Rossel Compétition) took advantage of the mechanical retirement of Réhane Gany (208 Rally4-Lycée Saint-Vallier) to take the lead in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup. Rossel is getting closer to the title and the wheel of the C3 Rally2 promised to the winner.
