Ford in a few figures

When taking stock of the winning drivers with the oval brand, it is amusing to note that the one who has established himself the most with the American brand is neither Colin McRae, nor even Marcus Grönholm, but Mikko Hirvonen with 14 successes. The other two drivers won 9 and 12 respectively.

Ford in rallies also has 308 events contested, 82 victories (including 44 with the Focus), 315 podiums (including 24 in a row between Jordan 2008 and Sweden 2010).

Note also that since the rally in the 2002 Monte Carlo, Ford was always in the points. The brand's last zero points date back to the 2001 RAC, where Colin McRae went off the track, then fighting with Richard Burns and Tommi Mäkinen for the world title, then Carlos Sainz had hit spectators. This incident led to the withdrawal of the mark from the event.
