Since 2004, there have been 16 editions of the Rally from Mexico in WRC. Despite this, it appears that you are still obliged to demonstrate that you deserve to appear on the calendar?
It’s true that we hoped to be there this year.
Was it a surprise to you not to have a slot in 2022?
En effet. Ce que l’on nous a donné comme raison, c’est que le WRC inaugure une toute nouvelle technologie et que les constructeurs n’avaient pas assez de matériel disponible pour en envoyer une partie outre-mer. Les soucis de fournitures de pièces qui touchent le monde de l’automobile ont aussi des répercussions sur le WRC et n’ont pas rendu ce déplacement envisageable.
