Grönholm thinks about the podium

After two days of testing in Spain, the Finn had found his old habits again: “I quickly found myself at home,” smiles the giant from Espoo. ?Everything went well even though I didn?t have time to try everything. »

Former pilot Peugeot and Ford, Marcus qualifies the Impreza WRC car that is “different” from those he has driven before: “It has a six-speed gearbox and the suspensions are very different. You can't drive the Impreza WRC like you drive a Focus WRC. »

Concerning his objectives, Grönholm admits that he cannot aim for victory but the Finn hopes for a podium: “I cannot fight with Loeb and the two Fords but I hope to have a good pace from the start and set some good times. I would like to get on the podium but many of us have this goal? »

Marcus Grönholm finished second in his 150th and, so far, final WRC start at the Rally of Great Britain 2007.
